Πρόσκληση υποβολής υποψηφιοτήτων! Περιφερειακή διαβούλευση σχετικά με τη νεολαία, την Ειρήνη και την ασφάλεια στη Λατινική Αμερική και την καραϊβική θα λάβει χώρα στο κολόν, panamá, από 28 Μαΐου έως την 1 η Ιουνίου του 2017. Η εκδήλωση έχει ως στόχο να συγκεντρώσει τις φωνές και τις εμπειρίες των νέων που συμμετέχουν στην οικοδόμηση της ειρήνης για τα θέματα της ειρήνης και ασφάλειας στη Λατινική Αμερική και την καραϊβική, και να συμβάλει στην πρόοδο μελέτη σύμφωνα με την εντολή που συστάθηκε με την απόφαση σαηε 2250. Αυτό το ψήφισμα, που εγκρίθηκε στις 9 Δεκεμβρίου 2015 από το συμβούλιο ασφαλείας των Ηνωμένων Εθνών, είναι πρωτοποριακή στην αναγνώριση του το θετικό ρόλο οι νέοι άνθρωποι μπορούν και παίζουν στην πρόληψη συγκρούσεων, την πρόληψη της βίας, και την προώθηση και την εδραίωση της ειρήνης.

Global Competition for #youthled projects by WMO- Integrated Approaches to Flood and Drought Risk Management: The role of youth.

This competition has been designed to showcase the practical examples and cases on how an integrated approach to flood and drought risk management has been advanced in practice by or through the involvement of youth under the following three themes:
A. Understanding risk: Participatory data collection (hazard, exposure, vulnerability), risk modelling tools, assessment and mapping and risk communication
B. Early Warning System development: Impact based forecasting, needs assessment, warning communication (technologies), response, and warning evaluation
C. Risk management and planning: Identifying, evaluating and implementing mitigation, preparedness, recovery and response measures at the local level.

Project team members have to be less than 35 years.
Deadline: 31st March 2017.
